By accessing or using notyet.vc and related pages (the “Site”) or other online services we offer (together, the “Services”), operated by Not Yet Ventures, LLC (“Not Yet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, and enter a legally binding agreement with us. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You must be at least 13 years old. If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us of unauthorized use. Your use of the Services is at your own risk. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice or liability, and may set reasonable limits on storage, retention, or use.

You represent that you are not located in a country or territory subject to comprehensive U.S. embargoes, and are not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Submitting a pitch, waitlist signup, or Get involved application does not guarantee a response, introduction, investment, or acceptance into any program. It does not create a partnership, employment, agency, or other fiduciary relationship, or any obligation for us beyond what we describe in the Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement. We may evaluate submissions using our internal tools and people. Additional terms may apply to a specific program or relationship if we provide them.
If you use the Services or submit materials on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms. You also represent that you have the rights needed to submit the materials you provide, and that our use of those materials as described in these Terms will not infringe others’ rights.
Attendance at events we host or co-host is voluntary. You assume responsibility for ordinary risks of attending, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We and our sponsors or vendors may take photos or videos at events for documentation or marketing, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may cancel an event or refuse attendance for any reason without liability. Events listed on the Site that we do not organize are not sponsored by us unless we say so.
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding your submissions), is the property of Not Yet or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, or create derivative works from the Site except as needed for ordinary browser use, or with our prior written permission.
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content through the Services, you grant Not Yet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and process that content as needed to operate the Services and our investment and network activities (including evaluation, CRM records, and introductions you request). Feedback about the Services may be used freely without obligation to you.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, use the privacy request form (request type Other) with enough detail for us to locate the material and respond.
The Services may link to or integrate third-party tools. We are not responsible for third-party sites, content, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOT YET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. Nothing on the Site constitutes investment, legal, or tax advice.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOT YET AND ITS PEOPLE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED, YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Not Yet and its people from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you and Not Yet agree that disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. You and Not Yet waive any right to participate in a class or representative action to the extent such waiver is enforceable. Before filing a claim, please submit a message via the privacy request form (request type Other) and allow 30 days for us to try to resolve the issue informally.
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and revising the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be effective no sooner than 14 days after posting, except changes that address new features or legal requirements, which may be effective immediately. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Not Yet regarding the Services, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale. Notices may be sent by email or posted on the Site; you consent to receive notices electronically. Any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services must be filed within one (1) year after it arose, or it is permanently barred, to the extent allowed by law.
