We see diamonds where
others still only see rock

Earliest-stage investing is broken. Most investors can't detect great companies early because they are using the wrong metrics, metrics which are shoehorned in from later stages like pre-seed but break down at the earliest stage. And usually their timelines are too slow to capture the signal, operating in monthly intervals instead of days.

Our founder and Managing Partner, Alex Zorychta, has watched this play out since 2012. Seeing incredible founders get rejected again and again by investors who claimed to be “earliest stage” broke his heart. From first principles, he developed a system of alternative measurements to build conviction earlier and faster at the earliest stage. He validated this first at the University of Virginia, then AWS created a position for him to validate it across the entire United States.

This measurement system is the basis for Not Yet Ventures.
